lovely mikasa crystal
The wedding I went to last week was all set up with gorgeous mikasa crystal accessories for all the reception tables. The place settings were so lovely with all the mikasa weddingsand gorgeous mikasa crystal glassware. The bride decorated her whole wedding and all the reception tables with such excellent taste. The tables just shined with lustre and elegance with all the different mikasa accessories.
They had lovely little place card holders that were the cutest silver doves, with bride and groom placecards on their tails. Her centerpieces were quite lovely too and really helped to bring out the ambience of all the accessories she had decorated the tables with. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. They gave out fantastic party favors for everyone at the reception. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. The beautiful mikasa crystal was packaged in such lovely favor boxes with nice little thank you hang tags attached.
Deep chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese topping each of the five layers with the fantastic wedding cake they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. The bride and groom on the cake topper look just like the wedding couple and they did this with only a couple head shot photos of the bride to be and her fiance. They did a fantastic job capturing the faces of the bride and groom. My mom and dad are having a renewal ceremony for their anniversary, and I’d like to find out where she ordered that cake topper from so I could get one made for their reception party.
The garter toss was really a riot, I laughed so hard. All those single men gathered together with a growing excitement while they watched the groom remove the leg garter from his bride. All of them were reaching and pushing into each other with the sole objective of being the one to take home the brides garter. One guy didn’t want to be in the garter toss contest, but the other guys persuaded him to do so, and this sweet little widower in his 70’s walked away with the lace garter. There was a big smile on the old mans face as he walked off with the garter in his hand.
The champagne flutes we raised for the wedding toast had the names of the wedding couple and date of the wedding on them and we were given these flutes as extra little gifts. After the toast it was time for the bride and groom to take their place on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. They looked so fantastic up there dancing together. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. I think I over extended myself on the dance floor, my feet ached so badly.
Then it was time for the happy couple to leave the reception and begin their honeymoon, so everyone was yelling good bye and good luck. I found out from one of the other guests that they were going to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Looks like their honeymoon will be just as fabulous as their wedding was. The rest of us partied until we couldn’t party no more.
It was only a couple of weeks later that I got my thank you card from the happy couple thanking me for sharing their wedding day with them and for the wedding gift I bought for them. She really got to these thank you’s quickly. By the way, I did find out how she could afford a mikasa crystal wedding and that fantastic cake topper. So today, I’m placing my order for the special cake topper and other accessories for my parents special renewal ceremony and reception.
